About the Artist
Robyn Till is originally from the Flathead Valley, and has been based in Bozeman for the past 12 years. After finishing her BFA in Ceramics at Montana State University, she went on to complete a Post-Baccalaureate program in Artisanry with UMASS-Dartmouth. Both her utilitarian and sculptural bodies of work are a vehicle to investigate surface design, passage of time, and the intimacy of clay. Her visual lexicon draws from historical textiles and patterns seen in the natural world. She currently splits her time between making/teaching ceramics and working at the Public Library, whose mission is central to her way of thinking and existing.
