Join Sarah Henderson from Music Together Bozeman for a DIY Instrument Workshop! We will make 3 different instruments - Spinning Drums, Kazoos, and Egg Shakers. Instrument making will be followed by a short music class where we put our new instruments to work; singing, dancing and playing along. This workshop is best suited to children ages 3-10. Max participants – 12. $5 per participant.

About the Instructor

Instructor Sarah Henderson, Music Together Bozeman

Sarah Henderson has been working with children and families for nearly 15 years. She holds a BFA in Theatre from Syracuse University. She has worked professionally as an acton in both New York and Los Angeles. For 7 years, she performed as a puppeteer and actor for Kaiser Permanente's Educational Theatre, providing education in literacy, conflict management, and nutrition to children in elementary schools across Southern California.

It was during her time at Kaiser Permanente that she discovered the magic at the intersection between theatre, music and education. Sarah and her husband Cody created their company, Wildarts, to bring theatre and music to the families of the Gallatin Valley. She works with Random Acts of Siliness to create innovative and unique theatrical experiences here in Bozeman. Sarah has also worked as a postpartum doula, briging support to families as they welcome newborns. She is the mom of two growing daughters with whom she loves to sing.

Sarah completed her live Music Together® Training in December of 2021. Music Together Teacher Training is built on research in early childhood and music development. Sarah continues her musical education through workshops and advanced training offered by Music Together Worldwide.
