Overview
In this hands-on workshop, students will design and create their own animal masks using simple materials like cardstock and tape. Participants will learn how to turn flat paper into three-dimensional shapes—building features like snouts, ears, horns, and beaks to bring their animals to life. Through cutting, folding, and sculpting, students will explore basic techniques for creating form and structure while using their imagination to invent unique creatures. This workshop encourages creativity, problem-solving, and playful experimentation, and each student will leave with a one-of-a-kind mask they can wear and perform with!
This class is recommended for ages of Kindergarten to 5th grades. Registration is required. Scholarships are available upon request.
Parents are encouraged observe and help students, but registration is reserved for students.
