Overview
Come explore identity and self-perception through the mode of the exquisite corpse and block printing. Each student will be tasked with carving one part of the exquisite corpse (head, torso, or legs), which they will then print on colorful fabric. At the end of the class, students will exchange prints with each other until they have a full figure of their own to take home. Participants will also contribute a print that will be turned into a quilt to display in the Tinworks Art Family & Community Space.
Space is limited to 20 maximum participants; registration required. Registration opens one month prior to workshop, committed participants encouraged. Please dress for changing weather conditions.
