
Overview
Come learn how to print fun colors and shapes on your very own quilt square! Students will have an opportunity to create and then print designs onto colorful quilt squares. This class will focus on the basics of composition, repetition and multiples, inking and printing a stamp, as well as how to use a printmaking press. At the end of the class everyone will turn in one of their squares for a group quilt that will be displayed in the Tinworks Family & Community Space!
This class is recommended for ages 3-12 years. No experience necessary. Guardians and parents are welcome to observe and assist their student, but participation is reserved for students. Each attendee must be registered separately. This class is limited to 15 participants.
About the Instructor

Kate Künst is a Montana artist working in print, performance, and fabric sculpture. They are an MSU Printmaking graduate. Kate is from Belgrade and now lives and works in Missoula.
